Welcome to District 4 - The Heart of Howard County

District 4 is comprised of five Columbia villages, Wilde Lake, Harper’s Choice, Hickory Ridge, Town Center and River Hill, as well as parts of Clarksville, Highland, Fulton and North Laurel. It’s a diverse district with many distinct neighborhoods as well as farms, the Middle Patuxent River Environmental Area, the Rocky Gorge Reservoir, major employers like the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab and Howard County General Hospital, 17 schools, 3 fire stations, the Southern District Police Station, Howard Community College, the Central Library, Merriweather Post Pavilion and The Mall in Columbia. Most importantly, it has the most wonderful people living within its boundaries.
