HOWARD COUNTY NOTICE OF A PROPOSED
REAL PROPERTY TAX RATE INCREASE
For the taxable year beginning July 1, 2024, the County Council of Howard County proposes to increase real property tax rates from $1.014. per $100 of assessment to $1.044 per $100 of assessment. A public hearing on the proposed real property tax rate increase will be held at 4:00 PM on May 20, 2024, in the Banneker Room, George
Howard Building, 3430 Court House Drive, Ellicott City, Maryland. A hybrid option will be available via WebEx.
