The County Council will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, for the purpose of voting to determine if there is a need to meet in a closed session to obtain legal advice from legal counsel.

The Council will first convene in open session at 9:00 a.m. preceding the Public Hearing for emergency legislation in the Banneker Room for the purpose of closing the meeting. The Council may meet in a closed session on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, under Maryland Code, General Provisions, Section 3-305(b)(7) of the General Provisions Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland to obtain legal advice on a legal matter. The topic is council officers. The closed session, if determined necessary will then be held in the Council’s Large Conference Room.
