Special Meeting to Hold Closed Session
Monday, July 31, 2023
Immediately following the July 31st 11:00 am Council Meeting
George Howard Building, Banneker Room
The County Council may meet in a closed session on July 31, 2023, under Maryland Code, General Provisions, Section 3-305(b)(7) to consult with Counsel to obtain legal advice. The topic is disciplinary procedures.
The County Council may also meet in a closed session on July 31, 2023, under Maryland Code, General Provisions, Section 3-305(b)(10) to discuss public security, including the development and implementation of emergency plans. The topic is implementing Council security procedures.
The Council will first convene the Special Meeting in open session in the Banneker Room. The closed session, if determined by the Council, will then be held in the Council’s C. V. Gray Room.
If the Council proceeds with the closed session, that session will follow the Council’s July Legislative Wrap-Up Session and the Council’s Meeting to discuss Administrative Policies and Procedures, which are expected to conclude at approximately 12:30 p.m.
