Testimony on matters before the Council or Boards can be submitted in person during Public Hearings or in writing through mail or email. To be considered, all testimony must be received before the final action by the Body. All testimony received will be fully reviewed by the Council or Boards.
Council Resolution 16-2015 requested that the Howard County Police Department's Citizen Advisory Council establish a Committee on Community Policing and make recommendations related to community policing.
A Hearing Examiner, appointed by the County Council, may hear any case falling within the authority of the Board of Appeals. Decisions of the hearing examiner may be appealed to the Board of Appeals.
